Answer Analyst Preview

January 28, 2009

I've created a new tool that is meant to compliment Instant Article Wizard (and IAW Pro). It helps you research the answers to your questions (and help you find questions that need answering) with lightening speed.

Click here to watch the preview video.

Please post a comment with your feedback and/or suggestions. Thanks!

For those who commented asking for the launch date, I expect AA to be available in another week or two at most.

The program looks awesome.
It will save so much research time.
I see how it also will help my high school kids to write a research for school.

Is it possible to add an article spinning capabilities at the end?

Hi Jon,

Very useful tool!
How it does it differ from IAWpro? Looks very similar.

3. Michael @ Find Do Follow Blogs on January 28th, 2009 2:36 pm

Wow this is the most powerful tool that I have seen recently!
I am really looking forward to see this released!

Mike

4. Frankie on January 28th, 2009 2:36 pm

Looks very good Jonathan just wondering when it will be available. I have been waiting on a tool like this for a while. I can you it to get ideas for more articles on my site.

5. Craig on January 28th, 2009 2:38 pm

Wow! Jon, that is a super tool. I'd probably have some suggestions for features id I used it for a bit, but what I saw in the video looked very impressive!

If you need beta testers, I'm like to be involved.

Seems like one of the ultimate outsourcing tools. Either do the research yourself and then email the results to your writer to assemble the content you need or you can give them the tool and simply make requests for product giving them the topic/niche to work in using this tool.

7. Olov Forsgren on January 28th, 2009 2:41 pm

Hi Jonathan, Answer Analyst is an amazing tool. Everyone writing content for the web will have use for this. What a market! You owe your son a lot since it was in order to be with him you had to leave the computer for a while and got your thinking refreshed. I have always loved kids.

All the best,
Olov

8. Uninstall Software on January 28th, 2009 2:42 pm

Looks Interesting Jon,
I use IAW Pro and it looks like it would complement it. Why not just make is a part of IAW Pro? (I know you are in the business of selling software!) How is it pulling data compared to IAW Pro? It would be interesting to search for related information with both IAW Pro and this new Answer Analyst tool to see what type of combined data they come up with and if any of it overlaps.

Thanks

David

9. John on January 28th, 2009 2:43 pm

After seeing the video, I think I'm more interested to know when its launch date going to be.

10. Neil on January 28th, 2009 2:46 pm

I think this looks AMAZING. I can't wait for it to be released. When is the launch date?

Maybe a different topic (other than colon cancer) would be better for the demo video).

This is great work, Jon, and I am exciting about this tools potential!

11. Hans R. Luginbuhl on January 28th, 2009 2:46 pm

We need to get some keyword intelligence and validity check. Due to my work with the US forces we know that we may have to start with grass to get the proper keyword balance, for the word lawn and LSI which was not invented by Russell not so W(right) but about forty or so years earlier and on an other continent.

12. George @ how-to-make-online-money.com on January 28th, 2009 2:46 pm

Wow! When is this coming out?! I have about 3 or 4 ideas right now for how to use this tool!!

For example - For all those people who have been wanting to build a mailing list but didn't have a relevant free report to give away with an opt-in…with Answer Analyst they could build a free report in MINUTES!

I can't wait to get my hands on this!

13. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 2:47 pm

How Answer Analyst differs from IAW Pro.

The tool differs from IAW Pro in a couple of important ways:

1. It does not limit how much is pulled from a single page. It can grab up to 3 full paragraphs of text from a page. So it's very important that you not wholesale copy the research, but rather rewrite it or incorporate the ideas/facts into your own writing.

2. It answers questions, it does not look for keyword-driven data. That makes the results you get different than IAW Pro, which is keyword-driven. So for some subject matter IAW Pro will be better, for others AA will be better.

3. AA is probably better suited for researching much longer content projects like reports or ebooks, due to its question-answering nature.

14. Tim on January 28th, 2009 2:49 pm

Wow that looks great! I'm waiting……

15. Denny on January 28th, 2009 2:50 pm

Hello Jonathan,

Another great tool you have here!

Suggestions:

1. Would it make sense to include the source of the research such as Google, Yahoo, MSM, etc?

2. Does this program tap into public domain info? If so, it would be great to know this.

3. After researching the topic with your program, it sure would be great if we could "spin" the sentences so that the result would be a combination of all the info.

4. What does "secondary answers" mean?

5. Will we be able to copy and paste the info we receive within the program itself or will we have to paste the answers we get into MS Word or into NotePad?

6. Will this program be able to access Yahoo Answers?

16. Alan on January 28th, 2009 2:50 pm

If there's a next video, can you demonstrate on the usage of different keywords a little bit more? I'm particularly interested on the "type of questions" that it generates (how & the variety).

17. Frank on January 28th, 2009 2:51 pm

Jonathan,
Great piece of software.

It'll be fantastic writing Blog posts, articles and ebooks with this.

And amazing research tool.

Frank

18. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 2:55 pm

1. Would it make sense to include the source of the research such as Google, Yahoo, MSM, etc?

Not really. What matters is what URL it came from.

2. Does this program tap into public domain info? If so, it would be great to know this.

Only if it appears in the search results where it gets the research.

3. After researching the topic with your program, it sure would be great if we could "spin" the sentences so that the result would be a combination of all the info.

There are a lot of good tools out there for that already, but thanks for the suggestion.

4. What does "secondary answers" mean?

I should've put that in the video, but checking "secondary answers" will show answers that were considered by the algorithm as "lesser" answers to the question. Sometimes they contain good research, though, so some folks might want to check that box.

5. Will we be able to copy and paste the info we receive within the program itself or will we have to paste the answers we get into MS Word or into NotePad?

You can modify the research in the text box on the Research tab, but I would suggest using a Word Processor for spell/grammar check, etc.

6. Will this program be able to access Yahoo Answers?

Since Yahoo Answers often comes into the search results for questions, you find a good number of answers from there, yes.

19. Thomas of www.hipro86.com on January 28th, 2009 2:55 pm

Thats a great tool. As soon when it comes available I would like to use it. Is it possible to have that in other languages besides English only? (How about German?)

20. Wendy on January 28th, 2009 2:58 pm

Hi Jonathan,

Excellent tool!

My suggestion is that when a person uses the "ADD TO CURRENT RESULTS" function that the QUESTIONS are listed in RED font color so that the secondary questions are EASY TO FIND when you scroll through your results.

Even better would be to create a way to JUMP to the start of EACH QUESTION in the results using something like the anchor tag in html.

There are my two cents.

I hope this was helpful.

Again . . . great tool!

21. andy on January 28th, 2009 3:01 pm

amazing research tool. Jon you did it again

22. Jim Martin on January 28th, 2009 3:02 pm

Wow, another killer piece of software that is going to save alot of hours researching.

I think you addressed this earlier, but having each result be "spun" into differrent phrases would be pretty amazing. probably too amazing though.

I can see how with Dragon naturally speaking along with this software, you'll be able to write articles in record time. Hopefully it will be available soon.

23. Greg on January 28th, 2009 3:06 pm

Jon,

This is very cool. Perhaps an article spinner built in would be good…

24. charlez on January 28th, 2009 3:10 pm

25. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 3:11 pm

Is it possible to have that in other languages besides English only?

Yes, the update I did a few minutes ago now has the tool supporting almost all of Google's supported countries — including Germany and Mexico/Spain, plus dozens more.

26. Ken on January 28th, 2009 3:11 pm

Looks great Jonathan! Do you plan on adding this capability to IAWP too as a unique data source?

Please add me as a beta tester!

27. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 3:12 pm

Do you plan on adding this capability to IAWP too as a unique data source?

No, this algorithm is very different from what IAW Pro does, so it's a separate application.

28. Charles on January 28th, 2009 3:13 pm

How do you "Save" your results?

29. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 3:14 pm

How do you "Save" your results?

On the Research tab there's a "Copy to Clipboard" button that you can use to copy the research into a word processor. Also, when you save a project it saves the data in the research tab in the project as well.

30. Daniel on January 28th, 2009 3:20 pm

Hey Jon,

This is an amazing tool and another "must have" tool for me…. but, can I afford it?? I hope this is a desktop software and not a web subscription service. I'll anxiously await your launch.

Best,
Daniel

31. Stewart on January 28th, 2009 3:21 pm

Looks great Jon! When can we have it?

32. Greg on January 28th, 2009 3:26 pm

I like Answer Analyst…! When will it be available for purchase?

33. Jane on January 28th, 2009 3:45 pm

I am ready to buy - how much is it? I love it!!!

34. Stone on January 28th, 2009 3:59 pm

Jonathan,

I WANT IT!!!! That would easily save 60% of my time or more. Will this be a subscription based tool like IAWP?

35. Dr. Oku on January 28th, 2009 4:06 pm

Phenomenal!

What if you could search a few different niches or sub-niches at the same time. Given that the tool has a tabbed interface, you could essentially add a new tab button to perform a new keyword search or a new question search. Perhaps you could select multiple questions simultaneously when the list of questions come up. How about it if you could number the questions to be researched so that the final output has the list of questions in the order you want it? Also, Is this tool going to be Mac compatible? Thanks.

Looks good. Since I am making only about $5 per month per website, I need lots of material to add to them and to make new ones. I might even consider paying for your program if reasonably priced. ;)

37. Todd Casey on January 28th, 2009 4:08 pm

Holy cow. Another great productivity tool. Can't wait to add this to the J Leger section of my Internet Marketing toolbox.

38. fantomaster on January 28th, 2009 4:09 pm

Looks like a humongously useful tool - I'll buy it!

39. air suspension on January 28th, 2009 4:09 pm

Hey Jon,

Can you add the ability to export questions list also or add to research?

This could be great for generating FAQs for a niche.

Does this pull data from the answer sites like Yahoo answers, Wikianswers, etc?

LOVE IT!

Justin

40. tom on January 28th, 2009 4:14 pm

This a stunning creation. I really like its ease of use and the endless possibilities it opens up. I saw something similar to this in the War Room on the Warrior Forum but this is even better.

Keep thinking! Great work!

41. Norm on January 28th, 2009 4:18 pm

Jonathan,

Absolutely fine product.

Thanks,

42. Legal Credit Repair on January 28th, 2009 4:26 pm

What an awesome idea!

May I suggest a de-duplication feature for the answers, so you don't retreive the same identical answer for two different questions.

EG. When you get a particular answer for "What is colon cancer" that same answer should not show up again when you retrieve answers for "Who gets colon cancer".

43. Ken on January 28th, 2009 4:26 pm

Hi Jonathan,

You've done it again!

Another great tool!

Looking forward to getting a copy, and saving tons of time doing my research.

Thanks for all of the great products you produce.

44. Paul from SEO Training on January 28th, 2009 4:32 pm

how about bring in content from Wikipedia- so the content then can be used free of chage as per wikipedias terms of use

45. Ted on January 28th, 2009 4:38 pm

I tried Colon Cancer at Wikipedia and got similar results but hardly anything on Old Time Radio and yes its a faff to go elsewhere looking when your program does it so easily with a storage faciity.
Looking forward to its release -if the price isn`t too much!!

46. Nick P on January 28th, 2009 4:50 pm

Jonathan,

Another fine product from a genius! I thought IAW was saving enough time from my daily chores but AA will even save me more research time :-)

Ready to beta test and buy it when it comes out.

Thanks!

Nick

47. Ron on January 28th, 2009 4:51 pm

Awesome! May have some suggestions after using it for a while, but it looks pretty darned thorough as is.

48. Kathy Mason on January 28th, 2009 4:55 pm

Jon,
We do research EVERYDAY- I look forward to taking this software for a spin. Do you need any beta testers? Thank you for creating more great products. Just curious- what is the make $$ tab?
Best wishes,

Hey Jon–
This looks like a great tool- a huge timesaver.

Will it be available for purchase or will it be a subscription-service type deal– hope it can be purchases.

Great!

–Jared

52. Michael on January 28th, 2009 5:03 pm

Johnathan,
Nice job on the tool. The "question creation" part of your tool is similar to the free Wordtracker question tool which generates several questions for a root keyword and also provides the demand numbers for each question.

http://labs.wordtracker.com/keyword-questions/

The "research" part seems to work the same as your article building tool - fetching content from currently published content.

However, with duplicate content a challenge, the tedious part of rewriting content still remains a challenge.

If someone owns your article writing program and can access the free Wordtracker question generator tool, how will your new product compliment your existing article creation product?

Lastly, there are several flavors of "research browsers" available that source all types of content including videos, PDFs, audio, etc. What makes this product different or better to use?

I think you'd provide a winning tool if the tool produced even an 80% rewritten article based upon the research. Reducing the writing time is more essential than reducing the research time. A move advanced "spinning" tool with a check to ensure originality would be a more attractive product.

Again, just an opinion and I hope its helpful.

Thanks,
Michael

53. Matt on January 28th, 2009 5:09 pm

Great idea and work as ever Jonathan.

1: Would it be possible for the software to get answers or questions from forums?

2: would it be possible to add a list of urls for the program to search?

I am visually impaired and use a screen reader. Your software is pretty accessible, which is refreshing.
I'd be really grateful if everything was accessible via the keyboard, rather than the mouse.

Keep up the good work

Matt

54. Jan Rasmusen on January 28th, 2009 5:14 pm

This seems like your last product, the article writer, which I found didn't really get me usable material. I haven't used it, and don't even know how to log in anymore.

Question: what if you don't like the answers your new product gets. Can it get more? How does this product differ?

55. Fred on January 28th, 2009 5:39 pm

Hi Jonathan,

I am a great fan of IAW and I think this is a natural progression.
It would have been nice if you had incorporated this into IAW (for a small upgrade charge) but I can understand your desire to release "new" products.

As to suggestions for improvement:

1. Make the interface more like IAW - questions in a list down the left hand side so it'e easy to move from one question to another
2. Make the main text box (below the question input box) tabbed - one tab for each question.
3. Get rid of the "Make Money" menu option - bury it in the drop down of another menu.
4. Add IAW "Move Selected Up/Down", "Delete", "Add Paragraph" and "Copy to Clipboard" buttons to Research tab.

Keeping a common look and feel across all of your products greatly reduces "User Acceptance" times - familiarity generates sales :)

That's all I can offer from just seeing the video but I'll be happy to test the application for an hour or two if you want further input.

Regards,

Fred

56. Larry on January 28th, 2009 5:42 pm

Jon, looks like another goodie coming!

A couple recommendations. Have a series of check boxes to specify the types of sites the tool will pull data from…. for example……. All sources, govt sites, edu sites, wiki sites, answer sites, etc. Allow us to check one, many or all of the boxes to specify the type of sites from which to pull data from.

Also useful to be able to specify other types of matches to look for, such as videos, audios, pdfs, etc…. with check boxes I suppose.

57. Catherine on January 28th, 2009 5:51 pm

I think it is fabulous. Other similar products categorise the answers but I like your idea because it can focus on a question rather than a keyword. Crucial for helping to write all those 2.0 web properties.

58. Sylvia on January 28th, 2009 6:03 pm

What A GREAT tool. Can't wait for the release.

Sylvia

59. J.J.-Better Search Engine Rank on January 28th, 2009 6:11 pm

Looks like a good tool. It really cuts time down on research for topics and questions related to them for many things that can then be changed into articles or content.

However something seems to be missing. How about a function for tranferring your content into word or a pdf file so you can edit and better control the elements of the soon to be content- article, essay, ebook etc.

60. Patrick on January 28th, 2009 7:37 pm

Looks like it will be a great tool. If it's a one time cost pretty much count me in, unless the price is stupid.
It would be nice to have the ability to search .Gov, Wiki ect.. Specifically.
If you really want to create a tool, build a article spinner that doesn't suck. Now that would be cool!

61. digital photo tips on January 28th, 2009 7:50 pm

This looks like something I would like to pick up.

question "is this going to be a one time cost or monthly fee?"

I will only buy if it is a onetime cost….

Jonathan has another great tool. I think some of you are missing the point. This tool can be used as a content generator but it also could be used as a tool to quickly answer questions many of us get from our website visitors.

I get many questions asked in comments and a tool like this would make research a breeze.

I got a question in a comment 10 minutes ago about the nofollow tags in Squidoo and I Googled it and spent 5 minutes trying to find the right answer. With this software I would have dozens of quality answers in seconds.

If this software is affordable, I will buy it.

65. Bob on January 28th, 2009 8:19 pm

Sounds good, but what about copyright laws?

66. Jonathan Leger on January 28th, 2009 8:22 pm

Sounds good, but what about copyright laws?

What about them? Unless somebody is planning to blatantly copy the text and not either 1) giving a reference to the source in a proper quotation or 2) incorporating the facts in their own words in an article, there is nothing illegal about speeding up research time. No law violations here.

67. William Roberts on January 28th, 2009 8:32 pm

Hi Jonathan

I don't know whether you having a new son or the extra time to thank caused this software but in my opinion you have a winner here.
Congratulations on the new son and the software. Keep it cheap enough that us poor internet marketer can buy in.

Good Luck

your soft looks very good , i think you must add another language like french :p (sry i'm french and a lot of my website are in french :p )

Good luck and happy new year for you , your baby and your family

David.

70. Geo on January 28th, 2009 9:06 pm

Hi Jon,

Great indeed!

My web developer logic takes me to ask you to consider the possibility to append the articles we write using this tool, with a nexus between the research and the corresponding written articles, using your yellow marking along with a number, and sub number (if several articles have been written about the same topic) . With a textarea reminding where the articles have been submitted to and their submission date. Keeping track of the whole job in one place.

A second idea would be to have a bridge between this tool and Yahoo answers. Let's say that the tool would check if there are similar questions asked there, at Yahoo, along with the answers of course.

Yours,

Geo

71. Dave on January 28th, 2009 9:21 pm

This looks awesome!

One thing that popped out to me is that I might be doing mass research and might want to save all the data for use at a later date. That said, it would be nice if the program had a "select all" feature so I won't have to click each box.

THANKS for an amazing product!

Dave

72. sharon on January 28th, 2009 10:07 pm

can you design it to extract more from reference resources other than just general search engine results. there are a lot of library resources, encyclopedias, and other reference material with great potential article content.

thanks

73. John on January 29th, 2009 12:18 am

Some suggestions

Make a button to enable us to add all the answers to the research area instead of selecting each answers one by one. If this is doable, probably you should change the "Add to Research" to "Remove from results" as I noticed there are a lot of irrelevant results from the video. Option such as this could be in handy to utilize the "Add All to Research" button.

IMHO, the question generating part is pretty interesting and it is essential that, if it's possible, to enhance on that area more e.g. to generate more variety of questions, long tail questions, etc. as these questions are actually the same questions that article readers, potential buyers, information seekers, etc. are searching for - questions that lead to answers / solutions. Maybe this area of question generation can have its own searching algorithm to get questions from main sites such as Yahoo! Answers, ehow, wikihow, expertvillage, wonderhowto, etc. or even video sites such as youtube, metacafe, etc. (especially those video sites that have "make money programs" - as question based titles are in abundance.)

The "Add to current result" feature should have its own labeling to differentiate different questions if possible. Maybe highlight answers to question abc with a different color background and question def with another color background, etc.

Maybe it looks pretty straightforward and obvious but what's the difference between short, medium & long answers? More paragraphs?

And thanks for the software. It'll be great.

74. Perth Party Hire Equipment on January 29th, 2009 12:30 am

Looks absoultely great Jon - I always love your creations and your thinking about automation and systemisation.

One of the big problems I see in marketing via the internet in general is the need to have multiple tools for multiple tasks - research with one tool, write with another, submit with yet another etc.

A suggestion for a Premium product version:
- take AA (with tweaks as suggested by others), send directly into IAW, add capacity to post to article directories directly, develop into scripts for voice/video, include a simple teleprompter, include a simple voice recording/editing tool.

Best wishes with the launch.

A very desirable research and content generation tool indeed. Am beginning to think that this in general is more suitable than IAW/IAWPro. Since this will not be integrated into IAW (and I understand that from a business perspective), I wish this would be offered at a hugely discounted price to existing owners of IAW/IAWPro in reward of your client's loyalty and also as an extension of your commitment to free lifetime upgrades of your product. While you've explained that AA and IAW returns different results, the end goal of users using either of these products are likely very very similar.

76. Rich Joyce on January 29th, 2009 5:37 am

Anything aprallel to this that can pull in video or images related to the questions in the works?

77. Leon Faruq on January 29th, 2009 8:01 am

I do not see a great distinction between your new product Answer Analys and IAW Prot. It appears to me that the new product would better serve as an update to IAW Prot. Some potential customers may feel that instead of getting substantive updates for your products, that instead you would pass them on as new products in the future.

78. Frank Bowden on January 29th, 2009 8:31 am

Hi Jonathan,

This is brilliant.

When are you going to offer this for sale?

WOW. I have been using IAW for about 18 months and thought that was great. This takes it to a whole new level. Just hope I can afford it!

Regards

Stan

80. Rick on January 29th, 2009 12:01 pm

Although it's using a different searching algorithm, I do agree with the rest here that says that it's better if you can integrate this with IAW Pro (Maybe a different tab to jump between IAW and AA, etc.) 2 killer functions in 1 app? Jackpot!

81. Mary on January 29th, 2009 1:58 pm

I love it. I'm just building my first website that isn't all ads, and I could sure use this tool. When it's available, is it going to be affordable for us newbies? I'm not making enough to do a subscription yet.

82. David on January 29th, 2009 2:16 pm

How about this Jon…

1) Give users ability to research/source our own PLR content residing on our machines via targeting of one or more local folders.

2) Give users control over research sourcing; for instance targeting of Wikipedia, Yahoo Answers, eHow, or whatever websites *we* think might have useful content.

3) Migrate IAW Pro features to AA and make it an upgrade path.

Respectfully,
David

AA is an awesome looking research tool.
This will be a major benefit to marketers who quickly want to tap into markets where they have no product knowledge.
I can not wait for this to go live!

In your email it says there will be a launch discount, but also a special 20% discount for anyone who becomes an affiliate. Is that 20% cheaper than the full price, or 20% cheaper than the launch discount price?

By the way, is there a discount for owning and being a member of nearly everything you've done? :)

Re: Answer Analyst.

Honestly, I don't quite see what this does that a few minutes at the Wikipedia and a few other obvious sites don't do, not to mention dozens of research sites for different subjects. Google makes it pretty easy to research a topic.

Great Job!!! What a valuable tool this will be.

Can You Add The Following Capability To Your Software?

–> Article Rewrite…
After we compile the info that makes sense to our project…
It would awesome if we could paste our final draft into the software then click and the software would rewrite the
article so we don't infringe on other people's content.

Is this possible?

Thanks again…

Looks like a great tool. I liked your IAW PRO but didn't like the high monthly fee. Hopefully you will have a great price on this. If not I'll keep doing what I'm doing.

I wouldn't mind a few bucks a month but not the $27 a month the IAW Pro has.

It looks like an awesome tool…..and funnily enough, i've recently been doing some research and wondering how long it would take me to get the content. This seems to solve the problem.

Another question. What about plagiarism? As a source of relevant content, its excellent, but would one not have to rewrite a lot of it?

What about plagiarism? As a source of relevant content, its excellent, but would one not have to rewrite a lot of it?

Answer Analyst is a research tool. You would, of course, have to cite your sources if you quote the material directly, otherwise incorporate the facts/research into your own words just as any author or journalist would be required to do.

112. PresidentBarackObamaPosters on January 30th, 2009 11:25 pm

I can hardly wait to get this software on my computer Jonathon.
It will take hours out of the search work associated with finding suitable content for article and website content.
According to your video it seems to pull good quality content and while we will have to rewrite it will be a huge time saver.
I have a lot of domain names sitting and with this tool it will certainly crank up their going online. Thanks.

118. Kathy on January 31st, 2009 7:15 am

Yes Jon, very good. It looks like it'd be so easy to operate. I'd be willing to write a very detailed and probably glowing account of this software. Please don't hesitate to send me a beta version. Failing this, just keep me in the running for a trial of it early on.

I've already started something on usfreeads so I hope its not jumping the gun.

123. Charles on January 31st, 2009 10:23 am

Looks like a very useful tool - I really hope it will be affordable to the majority who need it - like me! $77 is getting heavy at this time.

As suggested in some comments, anything written using this research and which purports to be authoritative must quote the references where the information was obtained.

Can the software indicate whether the information gathered is copywrighted or not? Don't want to be sued for plagiarism!

Please keep having these original software ideas.

please add for a future versions, add the capability to do multiple articles with tabs. you have the "Research" tab for the results a person selects, but i would like to see "Research1" "Research2" "Research3" tabs, I could pull great answers and push three or four articles out at once from the same research data. maybe have it color coded for each "research tab" thanks for considering my suggestion.

128. Dave Turo-Shields on January 31st, 2009 5:44 pm

Hi John,

Another easy-to-use, powerful-to-have tool. I see the most powerful module being the mining of the most valuable questions people want answers to. On the beginning end of product development, this little program could really round the bases nicely.

Are you going to have an intro price for those of us who follow your brainiac ideas, test them out and give feedback? That would be swell. $47 sounds like a great, short-term price for us "semi-beta testers."

I agree, can the program get rid of dup answers?

I agree, can we do mutliple word/question queries simultaneously?

Please sell this program as stand-alone software. All the monthly fee programs that are coming out almost daily have nickle and dimed me to death. I find now, that before I read any portion of a sales letter, I scroll to the bottom and will make my choice on whether or not its a "one buy" program. If it's a monthly membership, I won't allow myself to fall in love with the program and will click away.

Thanks for asking for our feedback. It's Incredibly mutually beneficial to do it this way.

Be Blessed,

Dave Turo-Shields

P.S. More suggestions about Data Web Parser… please add 2-3 more videos on each type of data extraction. Outside of pulling basic data from the External Google Keyword Tool (Very kewl by the way!) I find I am still confused about the other, more potent uses of DWP.

Copyright & Plagiarism Laws : Warning Warning

On the point of the dangers of users breaking copyright laws, or being accused of plagiarism by simply copying search results from Answer Analyst wholesale into their own blogs, etc; you need to HIGHLIGHT THOSE RISKS in your selling pages.

I saw your comment above warning prospective buyers of those risks. However I dont see such a warning in your selling blurbs, etc.

Yes this is a useful tool & appears an improvement on IAW which I used for a few months.

However prospective buyers need to be made aware that THEY MUST UNDERTAKE SUBSTANTIAL REWRITES of search results which is still a time consuming occupation (as I found when using IAW).

132. Bicycles Today on January 31st, 2009 10:25 pm

So, as with IAWPro, you have the option to use the gathered data "as is" by including the references.

Could you perhaps automatically generate the reference links as "no-follow" (can't really tell from the vid if the generated links are hot or not)..

Jon,
Sheer Brilliance ! "Answer Analyst" is Literally an answer to my prayers. It is precisely what is needed whether looking for information personally or developing attributed sources for information in posting a blog.linking back to my year-long and still devoping web site.

I'm disabled and trying to find a way for my wife and I to make ends meet. I know, because of my disability, that It will have to be through the Internet and will have to be marketing, promoting and selling Information products.

I have been following your work for years and it keeps getting better. I would have been one of your top buyers but money goes to making food and medicine stretch through the end of the month.

I would LOVE to get this and can't wait to see what it is selling for. You have a unique gift sensing what is necessary before the rest of us knew we needed it !

One more important point. Your personal ethics is such that you are the only guru on the net who I (and thousands of others) can truly trust.. Your products Help People and so does the FREE information only you will provide without a catch to it.

God Bless you and your family.

I'm keen to pick up a copy, but apart from the OTR and Colon Cancer examples shown in the video, I'm not sure how well it will work in general. Do you have a trial or money back guarantee period for AA?

142. Griff on February 2nd, 2009 6:35 am

Hi Jonathan!

I should have become an affiliate before I bought your Answer Analyst…I would have saved $10 - $30!

On your squeeze page, I'm offered the application for $77 mid-page, but when I get to the bottom of the squeeze page, the price is now $97.

OK, I bought Answer Analyst (my receipt says for $77), but when I get to my download page, I'm told I can "Sell the most powerful link analysis tool to your list or from your web site and earn 50% of the $67 purchase price (minus fees)"

[mini-rant]I don't sign up for affiliate programs for applications unless I've used them first, but if I had in this case, I'd have saved $10 on this purchase.

Why is it that more and more lately, the (what I consider) "Big Dogs" of the industry are getting sloppier with their spelling, grammar and care less & less about their professionalism or reputation?

I'm half serious and half bustin' yer chops, Jon! Like I said, I bought Answer Analyst regardless, but where and when is the "let's get this on the market and start raking in the green…no…don't bother proof-reading it, it'll be OK…" going to end?

For what it's worth, I DIDN'T buy someone else's offer recently for a similar reason: I read the squeeze page for the product of another marketer and was compelled by the good copy to purchase the program. It was only when I started the payment process that I was informed that this payment was just a sign-up payment to a membership program.

NOWHERE in the sales copy or any of the other information I had read about the product mentioned that it was a recurring membership program! I quickly cancelled my transaction due to being blind-sided by the vendor's: a. oversight (if it was unintentional); b. greedy underhandedness (if intentional).

If it weren't for the fact that I read EVERYTHING before committing myself and my hard-earned money to anything, I'd have been sucked in and not known it until that first monthly fee showed up. I know top marketers haven't gotten and dumber since they started their IM efforts, but where has the polished professional appearance gone?[/mini-rant]

I hope there was more attention to detail placed on the application than there was on the sales/copy for the application.

Still love your stuff, Jonathan, but don't lose your reputation on something that's so easy to prevent!

Best Regards,

Griff

My questions
1. What is the database that the software searches?
2 How does the software select information? (it dispays say 100 but there are thousands of pages on colon cancer)
3. Does the program search by languages or does it have the ability to serarch countrry specific info eg UK, Australia

Comment. Would love to be able to search specific databases like Scholar, Wikipedia, blogs or Youtube etc

146. Griff on February 2nd, 2009 1:04 pm

Hello again, Jonathan,

Thank you for your reply!

I wasn't trying to single you out, it's just part of a trend I've seen developing recently (along with links that don't work (not yours, heh, heh)).

(…and my apologies for my own typo in my first comment ('anD dumber', should be 'anY dumber'…no excuse for it!) :(

Your reputation with me is solidified because I know you put out quality products. It's the (diligent) new business prospects we may not get due to these developing trends that I try to watch out for.

Keep up the great, quality products!

I love this software.

I tried IAW and IAW pro and I was disappointed with those. The videos looked great but when I put in the keywords I wanted to search for those softwares pulled up very few results for me.

But Answer Analyst is bringing back tons of great info. This is a fantastic and easy to use research tool. No, it won't write the articles for you but it makes doing a ton of research fast and easy.
