Best PageRank checker and my new PR4.

I've been wondering when my page rank would go up from the PR2 it's been for months. I figured January was when the next update was, but I waited, and waited, and nothing happened. Until today. Google finally updated the public PageRank of my Blog from a 2 to a 4. I was hoping I'd achieved 5 status by now, but c'est la web!

If people keep linking to this blog as they have been, I'm looking for a PR5 next quarter. Guess we'll see.

Here's my absolute favorite PageRank checker, btw. It checks all of the Google data centers to see what they're reporting as your public PageRank.

Honestly, PageRank doesn't really mean anything in terms of ranking, though it is a fair indication of how well linked you are. I guess it's really more of a status symbol than anything these days, at least that's all I really see it is.

What would you ask an AdSense genius?

Okay, so Joel Comm is a much better looking guy than this dude, but he is certainly a "mad scientist" when it comes to AdSense! Joel has come up with some fantastic programs for skyrocketing his AdSense income, and he doesn't mind telling you that he cashes $25,000 checks from AdSense every month.

Since AdSense was the second biggest subject requested that I talk about in 2007, I thought it only fitting that I bring Joel in and let him answer all of your questions about the subject.

I'll be interviewing him Wednesday, January 31st, at 2 PM CST / 3 PM EST. Since my last chat was a bit chaotic when people had an "open mic" to ask whatever they wanted, I'm limiting this chat to just the questions I collect ahead of time. So get your questions in now if you want them answered.

Interview With SEO Expert Aaron Wall (Transcript)!

The interview with Aaron Wall went GREAT. Lots of people attended, and his answers were stellar (as expected).

I thought it would go over well, since the #1 requested subject for 2007 was TRAFFIC generation.

I've made a full transcript of the interview which you can download here.

Now it's on to the second most requested subject for 2007: AdSense.

My next interview is next Wednesday at 2p.m. CST / 3 p.m. EST with Joel Comm, the AdSense Genious.

Due to the fact that an "open question" chat caused a bit of a mess toward the end of the interview with Aaron, I'll be gathering up all of the questions to ask Joel ahead of time. This way things will be a bit more orderly and everything can be focused on learning.

I'll be posting a questionaire here Friday, so get your questions in for him then!
